I have a YM1720D tractor that when I put the tractor in neutral it still wants to pull forward. I can hold it from moving by holding the wheel, but let the wheel go and it want's to move forward. I was told there was an O ring in the valve body that was bad, took it apart but no O ring to be found, What else can it be? any help would be appreciated

It sounds like there is a leaking valve in the control valve assembly. It would probably be helpful to get a Yanmar service manual that would explain how the valve assembly works.

I remember reading the question and then neglecting it. I didn't know if the tractor is HST or gear. From the description I figure it's an HST. I'm not sure I can think through a connection between the steering wheel and the TX except that both likely are hydraulic. Sounds like I might learn something here. ....
